Toyota Center Parking Garage

The Tundra Parking Garage is the primary and most convenient parking facility for Toyota Center visitors. It’s adjacent to the arena, and the walk between the buildings takes only one minute. The garage has seven levels and 2,500 covered parking spots, as well as a private sky bridge entrance for premium guests. If you haven’t been to Toyota Center before, use the following address for driving directions: 1510 Polk St, Houston, TX 77002. The garage is placed at 1515 Jackson Street. There’s also a surface parking lot right across the street from the garage.

Accessible parking spaces are located on the first and third levels of the Toyota Tundra garage, but you can also find them in the surrounding parking lots. Several on-street parking spots for people with disabilities are also available near the venue and on Clay Street. Handicapped parking is obtainable on a first-come, first-served basis, so be sure to arrive early to secure a spot.

How Much Is Parking at the Toyota Center Garage?

Public parking on non-game days is $4, while overnight parking is $27. On Rockets game days, only visitors who purchase a Toyota Center parking pass gain access to the garage. To get a pass, download the free AXS App from the Google Play or App Store, and use it to purchase both the ticket to the game and parking space. You’ll get a barcode, which is scanned upon entry to the garage. You cannot print the codes. Event parking prices for Toyota Center parking passes vary.

Houston Rockets Parking Around Toyota Center

To lower your costs, we suggest purchasing Toyota Center parking tickets for one of the surrounding lots and garages. Many downtown parking facilities allow pre-booking through sites like SpotHere and offer lower rates. For instance, the drive-up rate in the Medical Place One Garage is $10, but you’ll save 60% if you reserve parking in advance. Here are the online event parking rates for the most affordable lots in the area:

Transportation to the Venue

Using public transit to get to Toyota Center is a smart move if you wish to save some money. METRO operates several routes near the venue, and the local bus and METRORAIL fare is $1.25 per ride. For additional transportation information, call 713-635-4000 or check out the Metro website. Use the trip planner to easily organize your journey. You could also use Uber or Lyft-the pick-up and drop-off zone is on Bell Street.

Commercial meters (usually painted red) designate parking spots for commercial vehicles (with company logos displayed) only. Most likely, if someone is parked in these spots, it’s because they already have a commercial permit for the spot. If you don’t have a commercial permit, think twice about parking in these spots.

Most of downtown has smart meters which are very easy to use!

some even allow you to pay-by-phone via apps like Parkmobile and parkbytext.
